Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter that made her name known on television when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. Kramer was in numerous episodes as a new country singer, which helped her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. The decade ended with performances for Dancing with the Stars. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she made her acting debut as young teenager in 2002's independent horror movie Dead/Undead. NBC Friday Night Lights, second season 2007-2008. Following a string of guest roles in All My Children (including CSI: NY), she was offered a regular role on Noelle Davenport. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the finale season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 through in 2012. She was a signer of an agreement to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country song I Won't Give up on the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Later she focused her acting career on film and music. She starred in several films like Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. The second album of Kramer, Thirty One came out through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on country's album chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two month stint on 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
