Andrea Joy Cook, also known as A.J. Cook is among Canada's most well-known actresses. She is best known for her part in the CBS police drama Criminal Minds where she portrays a Supervisory Special Agent known as Jennifer Jareau. The show premiered in 2005, and as of 2017, the show is at its 13th year. Cook was raised in Oshawa the city of Ontario Canada. She's always had an interest in performing. Cook began her career as an actress by making a guest appearance in Goosebumps. In 1999 she debuted in the drama The Virgin Suicides. The film however was not much of a success. Following that, she began acting as a character in the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground where she played one of the main parts. She began appearing on the crime-police drama Criminal Minds a few years after that, which brought her notoriety and fame. The show is said to be Criminal Minds was the most memorable work of her. Initially her aspiration was to be a professional model and fashion designer. She actually holds graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from the University of Colombia. But she chose to be a fitness model after meeting an exercise enthusiast at the gym. Sagra began to lift weights and built the muscle she needed on her small body.
